Survival Master Game for STEM Education
"Survival Master" is under production using 3DVIA Virtools technology for the Simulation and Modeling for Technology Education (SMTE) NSF funded project at Hofstra University's Center for Technological Literacy. In this STEM learning game, 8th Grade Technology Education learners engage in a web delivered, online-multiplayer game where science, technology, engineering and math skills are applied in the context of a scenario-based survival game.
Currently in year two of a five year NSF digital game-based learning research project, the Survival Master game project at the Center for Technological Literacy (CTL) at Hofstra University is conducting a Spring 2010 playtest for the first playables of this multifaceted game for STEM learning.
The creative team from Course Games at Sequoia Studios is responsible for the game development (Engineering, Art, Audio, and QA) on this project - and we invite your feedback on the project prototyping to date.
